Rabbi Moshe Rappaport

Rabbi Moshe Rappaport has performed thousands of bris milahs worldwide, some as far away as Hong Kong, making the bris ceremony a heartwarming and meaningful experience with his personable and engaging personality. He is known as the "Mohel's Mohel" and is recognized as a leading consultant to mohels and doctors natiowide on the many intricate issues of bris milah.

Rabbi Rappaport received Rabbinic ordination from Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Talmudic Law from Ner Israel, as well as a Master's degree in Education from Loyola College. In addition, he is an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), volunteering with fire and rescue departments in Baltimore. Rabbi Rappaport is very active in the field of Jewish education, both on the adult level, as well as for children.

Certified as a Mohel since 1981, Rabbi Rappaport was privileged to apprentice with the prestigious, world-renowned late Chief Mohel of Israel, Rabbi Yosef Weisberg, at Jerusalem's Shaarei Zedek Hospital.

Rabbi Rappaport performs bris milah at synagogues, catering halls and homes throughout the region, and practices at many Baltimore area hospitals, including Sinai, University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins.
